Here is the place my my furniture creations come to life!
My Name is Matthew Coppersmith, I guess I would be called an artist or maker, maybe just that kooky guy with all the weird stuff. That is me. Here is where I am going to go into a bit more detail about the quirky things I am up to. My goal is always to create some piece of furniture or a wild piece of decor. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes i don't but the journey is the fun part.
My goal here will be to showcase that journey. I want to bring as many people along as I explore different styles and technologies. My focus is always how I make the furniture or custom signage. So much so that I sometimes forget to post my finished pieces. The struggle is real for sure.
I currently work with wood, metal, and resin. I have amassed a pretty wide range of equipment to explore with. A wood carving CNC as well as a plasma table to cut fancy shapes out of metal. I mill all my own lumber now meaning I can offer up locally sourced materials. All of these things are such a blast to use and I would love to share them with you.
I can't wait to see where this goes.
I am very new to this blogging thing. I am hopping my brand of crazy shows up nicely in this blog format and I can share my world with all of you.
